Chiropractic Wellness In Fayetteville AR, Puts A New Twist On Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic Wellness Whole Health Clinic offers a range of natural solutions for pain and other conditions. The methods don't require drugs or surgical procedures.

PRESS RELEASE: Fayetteville AR, 26-JANUARY-2016 - Chiropractic Wellness and Dr. Quinn DC are pleased to announce that the practice uses the state-of-the-art methods and equipment to help patients live a more healthy and pain-free life. The Fayetteville AR chiropractor bases his care plans on the principles and philosophy of chiropractic care. The principles include using natural methods which do not require the use of painkillers or other drugs. No invasive methods are employed to foster healing.

Identification of the underlying cause of the symptoms is the first step for the chiropractor. The doctor doesn't just address symptoms. He looks for the cause and designs a program to help the patient begin the process of self-healing. The body is designed to work efficiently and rebuild damaged tissues which improves overall wellness.

Natural methods include spinal adjustments performed by the doctor. Current technology can help in assuring the patient that the vertebrae are in correct alignment. The electrical signals which pass from the brain to the extremities and other parts of the body are passed through the spinal cord and the nerve roots which begin at the spine. Removing the subluxations frees up the channels for electrical system.

Other elements of chiropractic methods can include massage, exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle changes. Posture correction can improve spinal alignment and the right type of exercise improves strength in muscles and connective tissues. These are techniques which the doctor suggests, but the patient makes the decision about whether or not to carry out the methods which can improve the state of wellness.

How To Get Safe Herniated Disc Relief With Chiropractic In Fayetteville AR

The spinal discs absorb shock acting as cushions between each vertebrae and supporting flexible movement. Injuries causing minor tears and cracks of these discs cause tissue to leak onto the surrounding nerves and increasing painful, tingling, and numb sensations of the back and limbs. A Fayetteville AR chiropractor can help relieve herniated discs and back pain naturally and healthily.

A chiropractor will perform an evaluation of presenting symptoms, physical states, and apply X-rays. Once the herniated disc is identified, muscle and nerve reflexes are tested to detect the severity of the bulge. The condition of the spine and upper cervical joints must be assessed to determine the most effective health management plans.

Therapy for a bulging disc includes spinal adjustments to realign the column and minimize further nerve disruptions. Adjustment techniques can help ease the pain of a herniated disc. Once the spinal vertebrae are aligned, it supports the healthy operation of the nervous system allowing for recovery at a tissue level.

Spinal stretching through flexion distraction creates spaces between the discs for oxygen and nutrient support. The gentle stretch releases the constant nerve tension assisting in the enhancement of disc balance and function. Therapy is important to address the formation of swelling and inflammation with its debilitating effects on the body.

Modifications in mechanical operation are achieved with individualized exercises to strengthen the muscles and the joints. Technique develops form and flexibility to support the spine and minimize the severity of future trauma. The elimination of nerve and tissue stress support mobility and the recovery of a bulging disc responsible for physical restrictions and chronic lumbar discomfort.

Before proceeding with conventional pain relief, it is important to learn about the health benefits of chiropractic for a herniated disc. Techniques support the spinal column to help with recovery without surgery, but through rehabilitation exercises. Enhanced mechanics and relief from painful symptoms rely on the strategies that are introduced with safe therapy.

Techniques Of Chiropractic Helps Relieve Pinched Nerves In Fayetteville AR

Pain can manifest in a vast variety of ways and because of so many different reasons. Injury, disease, stress, tension, and neurological disorders are just a few of the numerous causes of discomfort in all intensities. A Fayetteville AR chiropractor has specifically designed methods and techniques to deal with pinched nerves and other issues.

Neuromuscular disorders, and the issues developing as a result of them, are at the core of chiropractic practice. Proper spine alignment and correct joint placement are key to keeping a body functioning at its best. This helps promote better circulation and sensory communication to benefit the nerves and muscular tissue surrounding the bones.

Maintaining a copacetic relationship between the nervous, muscular and skeletal systems requires a keen understanding of how they interact with each other for optimum performance. Chiropractic care uses all natural procedures to support this complex exchange and promote the body's innate ability to heal. There are several techniques employed in this endeavor.

The most frequently performed procedure for correcting issues resulting from nerves that have become pinched between displaced vertebrae is a manual spinal manipulation. This is a process by which the doctor applies force to the bones to move them into correct alignment. Such action not only releases the pressure that was causing pain, but improves posture and circulation as well.

Other procedures may be used instead of, or in conjunction with, the adjustment if so dictated by the patient's particular circumstances. Some possible options include TENS, hot/cold therapies, massage techniques, stretching exercises and ultrasound. Each of these provides a specific set of benefits to the damaged tissue.

Because every individual and the pain they are experiencing is completely unique, the doctor will perform a full examination to understand the particular situation. This may include a physical, neurological workup using diagnostic imaging devices, lab work, and a review of the patient's medical history. All of this data will help them to determine what the most effective and beneficial plan of approach would be for the specific case at hand.

A Low Back Pain Study

If you follow the link below, you will find a recent publication in the journal "Spine." It references a trial that was done to compare the affectivness of manual thrust adustments, mechanical assisted adjustments, and usual medical care in regards to the treatment and alliviation of symptoms of low back pain. The results in favor of manual thrust adustments, like those delievered by Chiropractors, were undeniable. Here in our office we see these same kind of results on a regular basis.

To Help Fight Off The Flu

This year in particular, I have had a significant amount of clients coming in either getting sick, sick, or getting over it. The majority have experienced major sinus issues, fevers that come and go, stomach cramping, and soar throats. A few have even checked for sinus infections or strep throat with it coming back negative. The time frame has been between 10-14 days of illness with often feeling better for a couple of days in the middle of it. One of the best herbal combinations I have found for fighting off such illnesses is found a product called Micronil from Forest Center Herbs. It is a tincture combination of echinacea, osha, coptis, inula, cayenne, waltheria, and goldenseal root.

It is a great option and one I suggest for most to keep in their natural "medicine cabinet." I've seen it prevent individuals from really getting flu symptoms, help them get over it, and prevent the need for antibiotics. Which with the unwanted side effects of antibiotics, this is a great thing to try first. It is also safe for kids and has been my go to for our kids during flu season for years now. What changes with children is the amount they take is not the same as what an adult would take.

During my time as a practitioner, I have seen herbs greatly aid and help individual overcome some major health problems, but like all medicines, there is a need to find the right medicine for the right condition. I find that Micronil will often be the right remedy for the common cold or flu, and is a safe place to start when fighting off an illness.

Migraine Headache Sufferers Get Fast Relief Through Chiropractic Wellness In Fayetteville AR

Chiropractic Wellness Whole Health Clinic provides safe and natural migraine pain relief. The methods don't involve the use of medications for relief.

PRESS RELEASE: Fayetteville AR, 04-JANUARY-2015 - Chiropractic Wellness and Dr. Quinn DC are pleased to announce that victims of migraine headache pain can obtain natural relief from the frequency, duration and intensity of the headaches by using chiropractic wellness methods. The Fayetteville AR chiropractor brings the benefit of his years of experience and study of the field to help each patient obtain relief. Chiropractic techniques avoid the use of painkilling drugs.

Dr. Quinn and the professional team address headache pain, but they also help patients to achieve a higher level of health and wellness. The health quality affects mental and physical as well. With the onset of a migraine, no interest or enjoyment of life is possible. The pain is heavy and may be accompanied by other symptoms such as nausea, fatigue, visual disturbances and extreme sensitivity to light and touch.

Doctors are not sure of the exact cause of migraines. There are some triggers which appear to be linked to outside conditions. Some of the triggers are environment conditions, food allergies, fatigue and stress. Patients who are having a migraine episode tend to be made uncomfortable by touch, loud noises and lights.

Relief from the pain relies on working with the patient's knowledge of how their body reacts to the most common causes. Maintaining a headache journal is helpful for most patients. The process of healing requires that the patient stick with the program over the required time. Avoidance of the known triggers is likely to limit the frequency and time of the episodes.
