The program will last for 12 weeks with 2 visits per week. The first day your health history is covered and specific goals are set pertaining to weight, prevention, exercise, and overall health. The overall purpose of these 12 weeks is through therapies, nutrition, goal setting, and education to transform your life and empower you to make your own health choices to reach and maintain your desired goals.
Specific nutrition for each person is very important and key to weight loss and detoxifying your body. As a result of poor diet and nutrient striped soil more and more Americans are deficient in basic nutrients. We now know that even things like poor concentration, fatigue, and lack of motivation can all be attributed to nutrient deficiencies. Daily shakes, herbs to cut cravings, and super foods are all an example of what this program includes. More importantly we educate on why, when, and how to use specific types of supplements and herbs.
Saunas have been around for thousands of years due to their health benefits. They help relax the body, help soothe aches and soreness, flush toxins, cleanse the skin, and can help with sleep. We use it in this program specifically for the flushing of toxins. Fat cells are often full of unwanted toxins and chemicals that in order to burn the fat your body must be able to get rid of the toxins. Consistent sauna use will naturally help open up fat cells.
We know that weight loss is 50% physical and 50% mental. With the work of Dr. Patrick Porter’s self mastery technique we are able to work on the mental aspect and help change the negative thoughts and self image. This is done by a process of sound and light therapy.
Changing your lifestyle requires commitment over time. We have broken down many of the necessary habits into smaller goals that can be accomplished over the 12 week period. Each week new aspects are introduced, progressing at a rate that you can accomplish.
Everyone knows exercise is needed to lose weight yet this seems to be the hardest part. Most attack it too aggressively and injury themselves or burn out. What many don’t realize is the need for good eating and proper nutrition in order to support the exercise. Your body will give up and motivation will be lost if you don’t consume what you need to rebuild and repair. Your current health is taken into account in creating a progressing but do-able work-out routine.
Our health is dependent upon what we eat, and yet in our current environment it can be confusing and difficult to know what we should be eating. This program focuses on instruction and education about food and proper eating habits in order to teach you to easily make the right food choices.
Our food, our water, and even the air we breathe are sources of environmental toxins. Even The President’s Panel on Cancer has finally admitted the connection between environmental toxins and the occurrence of cancer. There is a need to know what these toxins are, where do you find them, how to avoid them, and how to clean your body of them. These toxins are being linked to diabetes, heart disease, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer, and weight gain.
